Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it'd be nice to have a thread dedicated to the collective bitching/praising/discussion of commercials rather than lumping them in with all the other YouTube videos.

I will start with a challenge. Find me a commercial more awful than this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW5-H2HlVmY). What I really don't understand is why that guy found it necessary to the money to get 2+ minutes of air time for that. I wish the uploader didn't bother adding subtitled comments - this thing speaks for itself.

And Wendy's was already on thin ice with the condescending animated Wendy in the first place. Worst commercials on tv right now.

I remember banner ads that appeared on all over the web for about 6 hours, until someone whispered into the ear of an ad exec just what is meant by the phrase "I'd Hit It".

to be fair, we saw him at a festival last summer in pittsburgh and he was pretty bad. i see him every year and love him as well, we just caught a bad show. but my friend won't let me hear the end of it. "he sounded like yoda!"
