No worries, Danno, erm, Fezzik - I just spoke with my mother-in-law, who's a nurse in a cardiac center of a hospital (and has been for 25+ years), and I was basically repeating what she said to me. The heart palpitations could be a variety of things, most likely an irregular heartbeat. You would need to see an electro-physiologist to sort that out, and likely get a heart monitor.

What concerned her though was the coughing up blood. That could possibly indicate that you have a blood clot in your arteries that has made its way to your lungs. That's the sort of thing you would not want to wait on finding out, so if it was me, I'd head to urgent care and ask to see a cardiologist. Not an internist, but a cardiologist.

Oh, you didn't scare me I do that well enough on my own. The blood thing happened just the once, though - I've coughed a few times since then and no blood - which is about the only reason why I haven't headed off to the hospital already.

I'm feeling a bit better now, and just waiting til lI can see the doc tomorrow. In any case at all, Im just hoping to have an idea of exactly whats going on with me before I go to bed tomorrow night.

I appreciate the concern, man. It's more than some of the people 'round here seem to be capable of.

BTW, can I legally hit someone with a brick if, after finding out what was going on, they said "Well if you die, you only have yourself to blame."

Scary stuff!

Over the last couple of months I've been suffering from bad anxiety attacks, due to all the stuff that's been going on in my life. I start to feel really nervous, my heart starts to beat weird, and I completely lose the ability to focus on the task at hand. It usually takes awhile to go away.

However, a couple of weeks ago I started exercising - jogging and yoga - and it's helped me a lot. I feel much better.

Anyhow, keep us posted.

Light chest hair is fine, but kinda needs to be even. Isolated, patchy or ruglike chest hair does no favors. imo.

I love a hairy chest, but I think I am the only woman in my immediate family who feels this way.

My dad and brother probably had 3 chest hairs between them.
